Queen Anne Waterfront Victorian

The restoration of this 1886 Queen Anne Victorian residence was about preserving the past while bringing the home into the modern era. We took on the job of being caretakers of the past. The client emphasized the importance of recreating the original details and craftsmanship. We were committed to keeping the front exterior consistent with the original and preserve the true Queen Anne architecture. All exterior historical details, spandrels, corbels and moldings, were removed and replicated. The interior period details were restored or re-made to match 1886-era detailing. Every element was custom made, from window seats and vanities to a walnut kitchen island. Every molding, every column, every cabinet was custom built to match or echo the original details. The restored residence now includes a new three-level addition, a wraparound farmer’s porch and decks off the primary suite and guest rooms. A new detached garage was built echoing the home’s Queen Anne architecture.
