This historic property in Westwood includes a main house with an attached barn and an old ice house at the rear of the property, now used as an additional private residence. Based on an understanding of the significant architectural legacy of this property, the main house has been entirely reconstructed following the original footprint and the details were extremely important to achieve a look that was true to history: the foundation was constructed to look like an original granite stone wall, the clapboard siding was sourced from a mill in VT and was hand-nailed throughout, and materials and hardware were salvaged and reused throughout the project.
